A founding partner of Coastal Oak Wealth Advisors, Scott has spent 10+ years of his professional life helping families, individuals, and other professionals in the industry pursue their investment goals and better their financial livelihoods. Scott works with High Net Worth families, business owners, and executives to help simplify their complex financial lives and achieve their goals.
Scott began his career in the financial services industry as a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch. He later went to work as a managing director for an asset management firm. He attended Wake Forest University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree and was a defensive captain for Wake’s football team his junior and senior seasons.
As a Jacksonville, FL native, and a graduate of The Bolles School, Scott is heavily committed to making a difference in his hometown. He and his wife, Kat reside in St. Johns county and welcomed their firstborn, Claire in April of 2023. Scott enjoys supporting his alma mater’s sports teams, spending time with his family, exercising, hunting and fishing whenever he can.
