Prior to joining Coastal Oak Wealth Advisors in 2024, Buck brings over 13 years of experience from UBS Private Wealth Management, Merrill Lynch and Fidelity Investments including earning both the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Certified Exit Planning Advisor professional designations. Buck is passionate about helping successful families, executives, and corporate entities with all of their financial needs.
Buck’s community involvement is centered on the things he is most passionate about: youth development, education, and the outdoors.
Buck is actively involved with the Jacksonville Public Education Fund currently serving as Vice Chair on the Board of Directors, Chair of the Governance Committee and a member of the Finance and HR & Compensation Committees.
His other active involvement includes serving as a member of the Board of Directors and Finance Committee of the Sanctuary on 8th Street having served as Treasurer from 2017-2023. Buck also is involved with the Museum of Science & History (MOSH) on the MOSH Genesis Capital Campaign tasked with raising the funds to build a new Museum on the Northbank of Downtown Jacksonville.
Some of his previous involvement includes being a past Chair and member of the Troop Committee for Boy Scout Troop 26 at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church as well as graduate of the Weaver Philanthropic Initiative Class of 2015.
Buck, a 4th generation Jacksonville native, graduated from the University of Florida where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Food and Resource Economics and a minor in Business Administration. Buck and his wife Susannah currently reside in Ortega with their 3 daughters Bebe, Cameron and Palmer and their yellow lab Bertie. Outside of work, Buck enjoys playing golf and tennis as well as spending time in the outdoors and on the water.
